They have named this puppy Pudim (which means dessert in Portuguese):
He is sweet, shy, sad and scared.
He is also in a lot of
pain.
Once again, we apologize for posting such disturbing
pictures and heart wrenching video.
We know; it's so hard, for us
animal lovers, to look.
Sadly, we see there is yet again work to
be done and a lot of work needs to be done for sweet Pudim.
He
is a baby, though he is a big dog; less than a year old. He is totally
emaciated. He's been out on the streets alone, for a long
time.
What you are seeing is the result of a burst tumor on his
penis. You can see, all of the blood he has lost, on the very sad
video. This is how our rescue friends found him.
He is currently
at the vets. It's going to cost a lot for the surgery and the vet is
desperately trying to find a way to repair the damage. She needs to be
able to figure out how she can leave this poor gentle sweet boy with
something he can urinate out of. It's a horrible situation all
around.
He's still not stable because of the blood loss. They
have him on IV. His penis is destroyed and yet again, they are
scrambling; trying to get the money together for his surgery.
Pudim has suffered enough. He's done, he needs help, and he
needs to be out of pain and be put back together.
