Dear friends and followers,

winter is coming. Our dogs will need all the energy they can get for surviving the harsh temperatures of the Bosnian winter weather. They live in outside kennels, there is not much space for them to move. 

Although we are constantly trying to reduce the amount of dogs at the Bark Ark, the number if incoming dogs is still higher than the dogs that get adopted. It is a vicious circle and we can´t escape. 

Bojan is desperate, it is really serious!! We are six months behind with our fundraising for food and the cost for the current shelter. Besides that, we are building a completely new shelter at the same time. Food suppliers are calling Bojan daily. What can he say? He doesn't have the money to pay the debts. Bojan and the admin team have drained their personal funds. Bojan even took a loan from the bank to pay past debts. 

Our team does their best to reduce the overall cost and the number of dogs. But still Bojan has to take care of the remaining dogs. They need food, they need veterinary care. Despite of our efforts we still create more debts.
