Sully was a healthy seven-year-old pup a month ago. He loved his humans, his toys, and playing outside! He has been a friendly face to so many of our friends - on and off the stage!
Beginning in December (out of nowhere), Sully started throwing up pretty regularly. After cutting out all food and treats, we resorted to an emergency vet visit for treatment. After a few days of things looking up, Sully took a turn for the worse and continued to decline. Since then, he has been in and out of the vet and the hospital. He is currently spending multiple days at Pinnacle Animal Hospital in Glen Mills where he is receiving 24-hour care including IV medications and food through an NG tube. Each time his numbers begin to look promising, they quickly move in the opposite direction. Though he shows signs of pancreatitis and decreased liver functions, no medical professional has been able to find a root cause or a treatment plan that shows consistent improvement. He has an appointment with a gastrointestinal specialist tomorrow and we are praying for any answers they may be able to provide.
We’ve opened and maxed out a CareCredit credit card and paid as much as we can out of pocket… so now we are resorting to asking for help and support from those closest to us. We would hate for finances to be the reason we have to say goodbye to our baby prematurely.
