📣 Urgent Appeal for Help – A Seriously Ill Stray Kitten 🐾

For some time now, I have been caring for a stray kitten that is, unfortunately, in critical condition. It weighs barely 1–2 kg, is emaciated, exhausted, matted, and has stopped grooming itself.

After a veterinary check-up, it was confirmed that the kitten suffers from a serious infectious disease (further specialized tests are required for an exact diagnosis), while at the same time it also struggles with severe oral disease – gingivitis, pus, and bleeding – which make it almost impossible to eat. It can only manage a little soft, soup-like food, and even that with difficulty.

The kitten frequently suffers from:

• Bleeding and pus from the mouth
• Difficulty eating (unable to chew solid food)
• Episodes of diarrhea, sometimes with blood
• Fever and extreme fatigue
• Severe weight loss and weakness

Last winter, I sheltered it at home just to keep it alive. But now its condition has become unbearable, and it urgently needs treatment.

⚠️ I have already turned to the Municipality and official stray animal care programs, but for more than a year now the case has been endlessly postponed, with no real help provided. Having exhausted every institutional option, I now turn to you, with a heavy heart, because I know that without support, I cannot save it.

The truth is that I myself am in a very difficult financial situation. Still, I cannot let this little soul fade away helplessly on the streets. I am making this appeal because I want to give it a chance at life – even though I cannot shoulder this burden alone.

• Tooth extractions (surgical procedure): approx. €100
• Experimental treatment for the infectious disease: €500–600
• Ongoing medication (antibiotics, cortisone, special food): additional costs
