“Mayday for May! Help Us Keep The Bark Ark Afloat
” Dear friends of The Bark Ark, This is one of the hardest
messages we’ve ever had to write. For years, The Bark Ark has been a
safe haven for hundreds of dogs who were once abandoned, hungry, and
alone on the streets of Bosnia. Every single one of them depends on
your kindness — because we exist only through your donations. Right
now, we’re at a breaking point. We are six months behind on
fundraising and must raise €3,000 for May 2025 just to cover the
most basic food for our dogs. Our suppliers can no longer give us
food on credit, and our small admin team has already spent every
personal resource we had to keep the bowls filled. We’ve reached the
end of what we can do alone — and now we need you.
Every euro helps: €5 feeds one dog for a week €20 keeps a
kennel fed for a month €50 fills a truck with hope If everyone
reading this gives just a little, together we can make sure no dog
goes hungry this May. These dogs have already survived so much —
let’s not let hunger win.
