My name is Valeria, and I’m asking for help for my dog Lana, a nearly 10-year-old Shar Pei. She is suffering from a severe infection — Staphylococcus delphini.

Because of her very weak immune system, Lana can’t fight the infection on her own. Her paws are swollen, red to purple, and she’s in pain when walking. The disease is progressing. Lab tests confirmed the diagnosis.

Complications have also affected her eyes and ears.
We’ve given her medications like Prednicortone, Cylanic, probiotics, and several antibiotics whose names I can no longer remember. I clean and bandage her paws daily.

We have tried many treatments, including ointments like Treasan, Unisan, Fucidin, and Clorexyderm, as well as folk remedies and medicines from Ukraine. But none of this has given lasting results — the infection keeps coming back.

I have no money left. Everything has been spent on treatment, vets, and tests — without noticeable improvement. Many vets say there’s nothing that can be done at her age. But I won’t give up. Lana is my family, and as long as she fights — so will I.

I’m asking not only for financial help. If anyone has proven ointments, advice, or experience — please write to me, it’s very important.
