I’m writing today with an urgent plea for help for a stray cat named Snowball. We found him in desperate condition, and now he’s fighting for his life.

Snowball is suffering from severe Feline Chronic Gingivostomatitis (FCGS), a painful and debilitating inflammatory mouth disease, likely triggered by the Calicivirus. His gums are intensely inflamed (moderate to severe stomatitis), making every attempt to eat excruciating. When we first rescued him, he was drooling excessively and could only manage a little wet food. Now, the pain has become so unbearable that he can't eat at all.

He is painfully thin, severely dehydrated, and his fur is completely matted from being unable to groom himself due to the pain. Without immediate intervention, he will not survive.

The only chance Snowball has at a pain-free life is full mouth extractions—surgery to remove all his teeth. This is often the most effective treatment for FCGS, allowing him to eat soft food again without agony.

We are committed to giving him this chance, but we desperately need help with the veterinary costs. The estimated cost for his surgery, hospitalization, medications, and aftercare is 2,500−3,000.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward Snowball's life-saving surgery and recovery. We just got him to safety; please help us give him the future he deserves—a future without constant pain.
