Hello Everyone!
My name is Jesse Nightingale and I am the owner of one of the all time sweetest, most kind hearted, gentle, and ultimately best dogs I could have ever hoped for. His name is Beaumont, aka: 'Beau' for short. I drove to Kelowna BC, to rescue him from their local SPCA in January of 2013. He was around 6 months old at the time. After spending a good hour and half with him there, I knew he was really the one for me, and I absolutely HAD to bring him home with me.
From the first night I brought him home, he was nothing but a bundle of cuteness full of love and wanting to receive love...and that was my goal...to LOVE him, and give him the best possible life he could have imagined. I'd like to say that I think he's had a pretty stellar life so far, and has truly come out of his shell...he makes everyone he meets say "Aww" and has such an amazingly touching soul.
Beau was quite the nervous and scared pup at first, but I was fortunate enough to take him to work with me everyday, and could therefore introduce him to all the exciting things in life. He soon figured out that he looooves the beach, and egging other pups on to chase him. He wouldn't hurt a fly, he takes treats without barely touching my fingers, and gives the BEST snuggles.
He's the main and ONE & ONLY inspiration for my brand and company, HANDSOME MOUNTAIN PET SUPPLIES. He is My Handsome Moutain. He is my heart. <3
I'm trying to raise funds to help figure out his reoccuring
and painful 'mysterious disease'. We have not had any conclusive
results yet, and it is VERY hard to swallow. He has been tested for
multiple fungal infections, has had a SPINAL TAP for Meningitis,
many blood tests, been put under sedation, urine tests, visited a
NEUROLOGIST multiple times now, been to an INTERNAL MEDICINE
SPECIALIST and much much more. All of these tests have already cost
me a great deal of money and I'm in need of more in order to help
figure this out, and it IS POSSIBLE with your help!
His pain is my pain - When he hurts I swear I hurt..
- His symptoms are usually onset very sporadically for no apparent reason
- His fever spikes through the roof -heavily pants
- He becomes lethargic from the fever & pain
- His hind legs and entire body become very weak
- He stops eating and drinking on his own or at all
- He YELPS in pain
- He gets 'hypersensitive' just by grazing or coming close to his skin
- His back arches in pain, and can't get comfortable
- He can barely walk a block, and stumbles when he goes for a pee
If anyone has had a dog with similar symptoms I would GREATLY appreciate any feedback, insight or recommendations to help him in any way.
I can't give up on him, and I won't - so this is my chance to help him fight this health issue, and hopefully (all fingers and paws crossed) that we will find a cure, or at least something to manage his pain and bring our Beau-Dog back to his happy, kind, loveable and playful self.

Yep...this is my goof ball when he's happy as can be! :) Miss seeing him this happy, and would love nothing more than to give him more sunny days rolling in the grass.

Usually we donate $1.00 from every bandana that we sell or give away to our local BC SPCA here in Vancouver, but for Beau's fundraiser it would go directly to his cause/needs. We would absolutely LOVE IT if your pup wore one of our bandanas to help us get through this extremely hard time. They are colorful, fun, and make a great accessory item for either your cat (yes some cats actually dig these!), or pup (Beau happens to love his, and yes he has multiple...obviouslyyyy).
