Roo appears to have once been a beloved pet. She knows her commands:
sit, stay, down, roll over. She eats treats only when given a signal
that it's ok. She even attended snake avoidance school. Loves to play
ball. Comes when called, even when off leash.
It seems a lot of
love and attention went into this dog. Yet she now finds herself
unwanted and alone in a shelter. Her family dropped her off after
having her in their home for over three years!
Yet again, the
mentality out there is: these precious souls are disposable,
Don't want them anymore? That's ok let's just drop them back at
the shelter and carry on with life.
But for Roo, life has
stopped. It has been turned upside down and she's scared and
alone.
Let's not let this happen to this one. She is beautiful
and obviously with all her social skills, highly adoptable.
Please help us raise the funds to cover her expenses and we
promise Roo will never end up in a shelter again. She will forever be
under our protection.
Roo is starting to show signs of shelter
stress. She is confused and sad. This is always a dangerous situation
for these pitties. Stress means euthanization.
