Friends and everyone who knows how to sympathize!

  There was grief in our family.Our beloved cat Dasha has a serious kidney disease (stage 4) and liver. She fell ill in May 2023. Doctors said that she would live from 2 weeks to 2 months!

But we did not give up and are treating her ourselves, and today, thank God, she is alive, although her condition is consistently bad, she has lost a lot of weight. Half of the plump, cheerful cat remains.

We did not ask for help and bought her special medicines and food while we had the opportunity.

But besides her, we also have 4 dogs and 34 cats in our care (my wife and I have a mini-shelter that was formed during the war, we saved all of them). They also need to be fed daily, and some even need to be treated.

We live in the East of Ukraine (Kharkov), where there is a brutal war with Russia. Therefore, now it is very difficult to earn any money, especially if we are pensioners.

Dasha doesn’t eat on her own, she can only drink, so we have to force-feed her 4-5 times a day from a syringe with pates for liver and kidney patients, usually Royal Canin and Gourmet pates. One jar costs from 3.4-4.5 euros, which is enough for 3-4 feedings (that's one day). She sometimes likes chicken broth or a piece of boiled meat.

The medications she takes are Ipakitine, Duphalac, Lespedol, Ferumlek, Renalvet, Solidago, and we also give her 40 ml droppers of Ringer’s solution with Vitamin B12 every other day. with breaks. Medicines are very expensive, and not everything can be bought from us, so if you have the opportunity, please help us.

Every month we take tests and ultrasounds to monitor her condition.

Monthly expenses for Dasha cost us about 370 Euros. To cover the needs per year it is about 4450 Euros.

  We spent all our savings on Dasha and our pets and therefore we turn to you with a request to help us with some money, or food or medicine.

When you care about someone, you don’t count the money and time spent.

  Dashenka is a very affectionate, intelligent and not at all aggressive cat. We believe in her recovery, whenever it happens. It is no coincidence that we rescued her in 2018 as a 1-month-old kitten in the forest, sitting in a box with her sister Masha.
