Wuff! My name is Clyde.  I’m a 2-year-old guy, and about a month ago, I landed the best job in the world: being a full-time companion and protector for my new human. My old family was moving far away and knew I needed a stable home where I could really settle down. I think I arrived just in time—my human lost his long-time best friends, Koda and Taz, recently, and I’ve stepped up to fill that silence with plenty of tail wags and alert ears.

I take my job as a protector and best friend very seriously, especially out here in the middle of nowhere. I’m always on the lookout to make sure my human is safe! However, I’m a bit of a "diamond in the rough" right now and need a little help getting into tip-top shape.

I’m starting this PetFundr because I have a "To-Do" list:

• A Spa Day:  I have some itchy, stubborn mats in my fur (especially on my belly, feet, and behind my ears). I need a professional groomer to help me get back to my handsome, comfortable self.

• The "Wellness" Check:  I feel like a million bucks, but my human wants to make sure I’m healthy from nose to tail with a full vet checkup and a microchip.

• My "Home Finder" Gear:  Because we live way out in the desert and so much is uninhabited BLM land, I need a bigger, sturdy collar and if possible, a GPS tag. If I ever go on an unauthorized "patrol", I want my human to be able to find me right away!

• The  Zoomie Zone:  Right now, I’m on a long lead when I go out. We’re looking for some used fencing and posts so I can have my very own grassy run to zoom around in safely.

• A Few Toys:  A hard-working protector needs something to chew on during his off-hours!

My human is on a limited income, so I’m asking for a few "paws" up to help cover these start-up costs. Food is already taken care of, so every dollar here goes straight to my health, safety, and my new backyard.
