Help Protect Kyrylo: Support Our Cinematographer Turned Ukrainian Army Volunteer

During my time volunteering in Ukraine, I met Kyrylo, a dedicated veterinary student and talented cameraman. He joined our missions to document the sterilization, vaccination, and microchipping of 8,206 dogs and cats displaced by the brutal Russian invasion. His footage became the foundation of our award-winning documentary, War Tails, which has earned recognition at the Seattle Film Festival and beyond.

Now, Kyrylo has answered another call to service by volunteering for the Ukrainian Army. Currently in training, he will soon be deployed to their UAV division. His bravery is truly inspiring; he continues to support animals through his work while risking his life for his country.

However, the equipment provided by the state is insufficient, and soldiers are required to purchase their own protective gear. While Kyrylo has acquired some body armor, he needs additional protection to ensure his safety.
