Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support in helping my beloved dog, Nala. Nala is a spirited and loving 4-year-old who brings joy to everyone she meets. However, just a couple of days ago, she came inside after playing with a dog we dog-sit and wasn’t putting any pressure on her back leg. I don’t see anything in her paw, leading me to believe that she may have torn her ACL.

Nala is in visible pain, limping, and not putting any weight on her leg. She is normally high-spirited, always running around and wagging her tail. Seeing her suffer in silence, hardly moving around, and with a pain-stricken face is heartbreaking. She needs X-rays as soon as possible to diagnose the problem and start her path to recovery.

The first crucial step is to get Nala X-rays to understand the extent of her injury. Once we know what’s going on, we can pursue the necessary treatments to ensure she can return to her happy, active self. Every second counts, and getting her the medical attention she needs is my top priority.

However, I am unable to financially cover the cost of these X-rays and subsequent treatments. Nala is my best friend and has been through so much with me. Just two years ago, she nearly passed from an infection called pyometra, and I stayed by her side 24/7. Now, with a 7-month-old baby, all my funds are dedicated to getting us by. I feel like I’m letting my best friend down, and I can’t bear to see her suffer.
