Gracie was flown in to AARF from a rural village with the help of BFK9 for medical treatment. She suffered extreme trauma from what we are told was being kicked (unable to confirm). The force of the blow was so hard it literally ripped the soft tissue of her face away from the bone of her skull. She can not breathe through her nose as her nasal passages nolonger align. She could not have been more than 6-8wks as she is only just hitting 3mon now. She could not eat while wondering the frozen street because of the damage to her face so she is very emaciated. This little girl has spirit and one heck of a will to survive! Joan from BFK9 named her Gracie because she is only alive by the grace of God. She is set to have surgery we are hoping to get donations towards her care. We could not immediately do the surgery because of her condition.
