This is Chewie. He was dumped in a volunteer's garden. He has been cared for in a foster home where a problem with his eyes was noticed. He has had to wait for corrective surgery because he was too young and unwell to tolerate the anaesthetic.  He has an abnormal eye condition where his eyelashes are turned under causing ulcers on his cornea and scratching. You can see that the left eye is smaller than the right eye and is a different colour. This makes his eyes sore as he rubs to clear them. He needs an operation to enable the eyelid to be trimmed so that it  turns outwards.  The surgery and aftercare will cost 150 euros. The operation is scheduled for this coming Thursday. Please help us to make him more comfortable
