Rambo was “disposed of” in a ravine in rural Guatemala. He was found and rescued by firefighters, and they brought him to the shelter. His leg was hanging due to a broken knee. His skin was horribly burned. It’s impossible to know what happened but either a car ran over him or he was tortured. Rambo is only two years old and a kind soul.
Rambo was brought to the vet immediately and he had to be hospitalized. The vet focused first on regenerating his skin with regular membranes. Rambo was also forced to rest. It’s been a tough couple of months for Rambo, but he is a very strong pup that has fought for his life.
Rambo is still recovering and is now at a foster home getting the treatment he requires for his delicate leg.
