**Molly the 2 year old stray has had puppies but her health quickly deteriorated and she was lethargic and visibly unwell; the vet diagnosed her with Pyometra. If left untreated this infection of the uterus is deadly; will you please help fund Molly's surgery so she can be there for her pups?**

Molly, rescued as a stray by Our Family Paws Rescue while carrying pups, was in foster in Lake Forest, CA, when she delivered her beautiful pups.  However, Molly experienced a swift decline with lethargy and discomfort, and the vet diagnosed her with pyometra.  Funds are needed for Molly's surgery to save her life and ensure she can take care of her pups. 

"What is Pyometra?
The term "pyometra" refers to a potentially fatal condition in which the uterus becomes infected and gradually fills with pus. Many dog owners are unaware of this disease, yet veterinary professionals know the signs all too well: behavioural changes including lethargy, increased thirst, increased urination and loss of appetite are amongst the earliest symptoms. As the infection festers, abdominal bloating and/or oozing discharge from the vulva may be noticeable. Without prompt veterinary attention, your pet could quickly deteriorate and die from infection or a rupture of the uterine walls."

While the surgery takes place her pups will be bottle fed. We are sure that Molly will be desperate to return from her surgery and take care of her pups; with your help, we can ensure that both Molly and pups are well taken care of ASAP!
