This is a combined fundraiser to help seven homeless dogs in need. They are now safe from the streets at a shelter in rural Guatemala that is at full capacity, so we are helping raise the funds needed for the medications and veterinary bills. Together, they need a modest $325.
Four puppies were abandoned in a sack just outside the shelter. They were only three months old weighting seven lbs. Their names are Camilo, Camila, Lilly and Lissy. They had parasites, skin problems and were undernourished. They were vaccinated and fed properly. One of them had an ear injury that required regular cleaning and antibiotics.
Osa is a young pup rescued with an infected wound on her eye that required draining and antibiotics. She had to be hospitalized for one week.
Posha was wandering by the side of the road. She was very weak with anemia and an infection that required proper care. Little by little she's been gaining weight and strength.
Bach had a horrible fungus around his mouth that required medication.
