Tinkerbelle was surrendered to us May of 2021 when her young owners found themselves faced with a tough decision... the little puppy they had rescued had medical issues that they could not afford... they were expecting a baby of their own any day... they surrendered her so that she could have the best life possible...
Tink has ectopic ureters, meaning she leaks urine ALL the time... we took her to a specialist in Leesburg, VA and they referred us to Penn University in Philly, hoping Tink was a candidate for laser ablasion instead of surgery... two visits to Philly and we found she was NOT a candidate... they did remove a band of tissue from the opening of her vagina but the could do no more... so back down to Leesburg... but before she could get the surgery, she tore her cruciate in her right back leg (her left back leg already has a luxating patella) and that torn cruciate was priority... so she had that fixed last month and has recuperated enough to have her BIG surgery and it's scheduled for this week... we need $5500 for her to have this surgery... this little girl just needs to be "fixed up" so she can live a "normal" life... she wants to run & play, be able to go potty normally, play with the other pups regularly... and it's time for that to happen for her... please help us do that.
