Joelle is a sweet English Bulldog who has endured heartbreaking neglect and abuse. She had "owners" that basically used her as puppy mills do. Then they lost interest in her as she grew older. It took a compassionate worker to finally report her situation to our partner rescue group in Guatemala.
A full vet evaluation revealed the painful reality Joelle has been living with:

Elbow problems causing pain and limited mobility
Joelle’s healing requires specialized treatments including:

Medications for her skin, respiratory system, bladder stones, and spinal pain

Surgery on her elbow to restore her movement

A palate procedure to help her breathe more easily

Tumor removal via surgery to reduce the risk of further cancer growth
The total cost of Joelle’s vet bill is high, and we are partnering with a trusted rescue group in Guatemala to help cover half of her medical expenses — about $750. The group in Guatemala is raising the rest.
