Con solo 7 meses de vida, esta
pequeña ya ha librado más batallas de las que cualquier perrito
debería enfrentar. Hace un mes, la encontraron tirada a la orilla de
la carretera. Acababan de atropellarla. El conductor no se detuvo.
Simplemente, siguió de largo, dejándola sola, fracturada y con
dolor.
El Milagro del Rescate
Gracias a un llamado de
auxilio y la intervención inmediata de la Agrupación Eco Molco,
Blanquita llegó a una clínica veterinaria. Los diagnósticos iniciales
fueron duros: fractura de cadera. Pero Blanquita demostró de qué
estaba hecha. Con el amor de su hogar temporal y la atención médica,
su fuerza de voluntad pudo más y logró salir adelante. Hoy, se
recupera de una microfractura, un proceso que durará 4 meses.
La
Tormenta Inesperada
Cuando todo parecía estabilizarse, la vida le
puso otra prueba. Hace dos semanas, por circunstancias ajenas a su
cuidada rutina, Blanquita estuvo en otro lugar por siete días. Al
regresar a su hogar temporal, traía consigo un enemigo silencioso:
estaba contagiada de Parvovirus y Giardia, aunque aún sin
síntomas.
El pasado viernes, el susto nos paralizó. Comenzó con
diarrea y la llevamos de urgencia al hospital. El miedo nos invadió,
pero una vez más, la valentía de Blanquita y la rápida acción de su
cuidadora evitaron la tragedia.

está en casa. No tuvo fiebre, no vomitó y nunca perdió el apetito. Es

crisis:

Today, she's recovering from a microfracture—a healing process that will take four months.
The Unexpected Storm
Just when things seemed to be stabilizing, life threw her another challenge. Two weeks ago, due to circumstances beyond her careful routine, Blanquita had to stay somewhere else for seven days. When she returned to her foster home, she brought back a silent enemy: she was infected with Parvovirus and Giardia, though she wasn't showing symptoms yet.
This past Friday, fear paralyzed us. She started having diarrhea, and we rushed her to the hospital. Panic took over, but once again, Blanquita's bravery and her caregiver's quick thinking prevented a tragedy.
She's been discharged!
Blanquita is home now. No fever, no vomiting, no loss of appetite. It's a sign that she wants to live—and that her guardian angels acted just in time.
