Flynn Rider was abandoned, and now he desperately needs a home.

We're two girls that self-fund a rabbit rescue located in Southern California called Two Rabbit Rescue.

On Christmas Eve, we saw this puppy running around on the streets and were worried he was lost and that he wouldn't be home in time for Christmas. He had no collar or microchip. So, we launched a full-scale campaign attempting to find his original owners across PawBoost, Petco, Facebook (& Facebook Groups), Nextdoor, and countless others.

Instead, we just found one other person in our area who had found him before us. She had him for a few days before he escaped her backyard, and let us know she didn't find any prior owner for him, either.

As a result, we believe he's been abandoned.

The shelters and rescues in our area (Los Angeles / Inland Empire) have been horrendously impacted after the out-of-control fires occurring across our region (that are still being battled due to high winds). Multiple dogs are being put into single kennels and are fighting it out, and countless others are being killed to make room for the animals being found or surrendered as a result of the fires.

If we take him to a shelter, we do not believe he will have a chance at life.

We cannot keep him because we run Two Rabbit Rescue and we do not have the area to hold him. We desperately need to find Flynn a willing foster or adopter.

We need to send Flynn through training to help him find a home.

He has gone to a vet already and received a wellness exam, flea treatment, parasite test, bloodwork, and the first round of vaccines. Thanks to the kindness of the wonderful owner of PoochMatch.com, he has now been neutered and microchipped, and received the second round of his vaccinations.

Next up, we need to send him through training! He's incredibly responsive to being taught, and is very smart, so we're hoping to set him up for success no matter who he ends up with to decrease his chances of being surrendered or abandoned again.

Although we are promoting Flynn and getting him adopted & fostered through our rabbit rescue, all of his care is still 100% being covered by our personal funds on top of all the rest of our rescues that are up for adoption.
