Flynn Rider was abandoned, and now he
desperately needs a home.
We're two girls that self-fund a rabbit rescue located in Southern California called Two Rabbit Rescue.
On Christmas Eve, we saw this puppy running around on the streets and were worried he was lost and that he wouldn't be home in time for Christmas. He had no collar or microchip. So, we launched a full-scale campaign attempting to find his original owners across PawBoost, Petco, Facebook (& Facebook Groups), Nextdoor, and countless others.
Instead, we just found one other person in our area who had found him before us. She had him for a few days before he escaped her backyard, and let us know she didn't find any prior owner for him, either.
As a result, we believe he's been abandoned.
The shelters and rescues in our area (Los Angeles / Inland Empire) have been horrendously impacted after the out-of-control fires occurring across our region (that are still being battled due to high winds). Multiple dogs are being put into single kennels and are fighting it out, and countless others are being killed to make room for the animals being found or surrendered as a result of the fires.
If we take him to a shelter, we do not believe he will have a chance at life.
We cannot keep him because we run Two Rabbit Rescue and we do not have the area to hold him. We desperately need to find Flynn a willing foster or adopter.
Please help cover Flynn's medical costs so he can find a home.
He has gone to a vet already and received a wellness exam, flea treatment, parasite test, bloodwork, and his first round of vaccines.
Coming up, he has a neuter scheduled along with his second round of vaccines and a microchip implant.
Although we are promoting Flynn and getting him adopted & fostered through our rabbit rescue, all of his care is still 100% being covered by our personal funds on top of all the rest of our rescues that are up for adoption.

The total amount of his estimated medical bill + what we've already paid comes to $976.07; any amount over this will go towards his transportation to his foster or adopter (anywhere within the United States) as well as his ongoing care.

- He is a 1 year old male Australian Shepherd mix, incredibly friendly and sweet.
- Very hyperactive, highly intelligent, and would do amazingly with an active and dedicated owner.
- If you love to be outside, hiking, walking, running, rock climbing, or just being with him, he will be your ride or die.
- He'd potentially do very well as a service dog if given the appropriate training.
- Does well with children and other dogs, and is easily trainable with consistency.
- He's the equivalent of a trash can and will eat anything you give him, including blueberries.
- And, he *loves* tummy rubs.
