I haven't been able to complete Teddy's treatments or vet check ups due to maxed out credit cards and little income. I'm a single mother that just lost her part time job and gets little assistance from anyone else. He is doing ok so far but has only received about half the treatment he was supposed to get.

My cat Teddy was diagnosed with wet FIP with neurological symptoms on April 18th. He turned 3 on April 19th, I've had him and his 6 siblings since they were born. His brother Booker had a rare condition, saddle thrombosis, which caused him to have throw a clot and paralyzed his back legs on March 8th and he had to be euthanized. FIP comes from coronavirus, most cats in their lifetime will be exposed to and recover. However, only around 2% of cats that are exposed to coronavirus develop into FIP. It isn't contagious after it becomes FIP but it usually carries a death sentence. There is no cure in the US, but there is a medication that is approved in Australia and the UK and it is very expensive. The only thing my vet could do was euthanize Teddy but if there was a chance to save him I had to try. I ordered the medicine that day and he started treatment on his 3rd birthday. The treatment is injections or pills everyday for 84 days. After having him in and out of the vet and emergency vet for a month and a half and the medication I've bought so far, I have accumulated a lot of credit card debt and I don't know how I'll afford to finish it. I'm a single mother that takes in cats whenever they need homes. I have 22 cats so already have a lot of expenses with food and litter. Any help would be appreciated.
