Friends of Larnaca Cats have 200+ cats at our shelter, we look after and feed various colonies in the Larnaca district and on top of this we respond - when possible - to emergencies and daily reports of sick and injured cats... like the one shown in the pictures, who turned up at a feeding station 2 days ago looking very ill and thin. Another has an object - possible bullet- in his forehead.

We put up individual fundraisers for serious cases that cost a lot but for the vast majority we don't... such as cats that go to the vet with flu, dental problems etc etc... and those are the amounts that steadily build up until, once again, we need all your help to pay them. This doesn't even take into account the monthly worming and defleaing meds we need to purchase for all the shelter cats.

Our vets are incredible and very lenient in asking for bills to be paid but they DO need to be paid... our outstanding amount has started to get very high again and we need to raise €2000 asap to pay our current bills. The last thing we want to happen is to be back where we were 3 years ago when our debt was so high that we couldn't take any cats to the vets until it was paid...
