I would like to start off by saying, "Thank you"! You have all been amazing with your continued love & support and we can't even begin to express our gratitude, appreciation & love for each of you.

As you have seen over the past few months, & especially the past few weeks, we have been tested... we have faced so many trials & tribulations but we have done so head-on... our pups have been thrown curve ball after curve ball and have stood strong, catching each one with strength & courage... We could not be more proud of them!

We have struggled emotionally, physically & mentally... our dedication has truly been put to the test... but I personally feel that we have passed with flying colors!

Our checkbook has taken hit after hit after hit We have brainstormed & tried to be as creative with our fundraising as we possibly can... much of that falls into my lap as the President & Co-Founder of KKPP and I have had trouble at times keeping up with things due to the errands, the vet visits, the ER trips, etc but I have tried my best... and now I need to just come right out and tell you that this last week has hit us tremendously hard and we are beyond broke

One week ago today, Denali pulled his tube out and that 48-hour stay at the ER in Leesburg was $3300+ & while I was there I also had to pay his outstanding bill from January of $3100 (that was what was left from his $9900 stay)... I paid Tink's outstanding balance while there of $555... Roxanne went to the ER on Monday night/early Tuesday morning and that visit was $809... Marky went to the ER on Wednesday, where we had to let him gain his wings & that bill was $1089 (his fosters paid for half of that )... in the wee morning of today, Sammy was taken to the ER & his bill was $1031... we are not even sure at this time if he will need to return sometime this weekend as he still isn't doing well...

On top of the ER visits, we had several pups go to our regular vet and that bill was $601. When you add together the medications, the autoships for special supplements & foods, & the extras that were needed this week, that total comes in at over $1000...

That is a lot of money in 7 days That's $11,485+... in seven days... We received a few donations and thankfully our Bingo on the 26th was hugely successful and enabled us to pay all of this when added to the donations that came in but it has left us with an empty wallet

We had our liability insurance renewal due Thursday and that was $782 down payment... we have storage, CareCredit & ScratchPay all due within the next two weeks...

And once again, we thank you for your continued love for our pups and support of our mission... it definitely takes a village and ours is the very best
