**WILL YOU GIVE COMFORT TO SO CAL'S HOMELESS PETS IN HIGH KILL SHELTERS, BY DONATING FOR THE PURCHASE OF BLANKETS BEFORE WINTER SETS IN?**

The LA and San Bernardino County high kill shelters have gone through the blankets that All About the Animals donated last winter; we need to supply them with new blankets to ensure that the homeless pets who have the misfortune of ending up at the worst high kill shelters of LA and San Bernardino County (Lancaster, Carson, Downey, Devore, San Bernardino City AND THIS YEAR WE ARE ADDING SEACCA) are able to lie in comfort on a soft blanket this winter. It is bad enough that they face euthanasia, and are scared and confused after being abandoned/lost by their former families; the least we can do for them is provide them with the comfort of a soft blanket.

Last winter, with help of kindhearted supporters like you, All About the Animals donated OVER 1,000 blankets for the Lancaster, Downey, Carson and San Bernardino City and County shelter pups.  It was a little tricky this year to capture photos of the pups on the blankets due to shelters being closed to public open admission since COVID-19, but we are sure the pups and kitties enjoyed the comfort from their blankets. Click the link for photos of us hand delivering the crate pads and blankets...  https://www.facebook.com/donate/139372910969286/328585822047993/

For 2020, we also supplemented the blankets with generous donations from PETCO's local distribution center (which we sorted and delivered/donated) beds toys treats chews food etc, to both the shelters and rescue groups. We are hoping to exceed last year's impact and purchase 1,200 blankets this year (200 per shelter; consider that each shelter has well over 100 kennels), which we will hand deliver to the shelters. The more we can raise, the more blankets we can supply to LA County and San Bernardino County's high kill shelters. These are shelters that LACK community support, unlike shelters located in the more affluent areas. THESE SHELTER DOGS AND CATS DESPERATELY NEED OUR HELP TO HAVE A BASIC LEVEL OF COMFORT.
