The Bark Ark is a privately run shelter in Northern Bosnia. It is home to more than 700 dogs. All these dogs would be in immediate danger living as stray dogs on the streets. We are struggling with the cost for food, rent, garbage disposal, water etc.

We take senior and special needs animals who have no place else to go. In our care they receive appropriate medical attention, live in a safe and open environment, and get to enjoy their remaining years being celebrated for who they are as individuals.
